Cegos Opens up to the Brazilian Market
Paris (F), November 2012 - Cegos has continued its international expansion by concluding a new distribution partnership for its range of off-the-shelf eLearning solutions. The contract signed with Affero, one of South America's biggest blended-learning organisations, gives Cegos a foothold in the Brazilian market.
Pascal Debordes, head of Cegos's international partner network, said, "This partnership with Affero is an opportunity to expand our business into the world's sixth-largest economy: a booming country with a huge appetite for learning. Our partner, Brazil's top eLearning provider, will be able to use our library of off-the-shelf eLearning modules, localized into Brazilian Portuguese, to win new market share."
Affero Product Director Francisco Ferreira added, "Affero is always on the lookout for opportunities to forge partnerships with top names in the eLearning market, those with strong brands and quality products. That's why we decided to work with Cegos, a global company whose modules should appeal to our customers."
In the future, Cegos intends to pursue its strategy of partnerships with companies that are leaders in their local market, targeting countries with strong growth potential in Africa and Asia.
