Celebrating Excellence

New Categories for eLearning Awards 2014

London (UK), February 2014 - Two new categories have been added to the 2014 eLearning Awards: blended learning and best use of social and collaborative technologies for learning. Also, the project category now covers the private, public and third sectors, nineteen categories in total. This year sees the eLearning Awards tenth anniversary of recognising and celebrating eLearning excellence.

All the categories have been reviewed and refreshed, and the organisers have added two new ones. Following feedback from the marketplace, there is now a category for blended learning and another for the best use of social and collaborative technologies for learning. The project category also now covers private, public, and third sectors.

In addition, the popular learning content and project categories have been modified to better reflect learner engagement. The content categories have moved away from ROI to concentrate solely on content. The project categories now encompass user evidence of return.
