New Website Links eLearning Buyers and Sellers
London (UK), April 2013 - A new website, elearningmarketplace.co.uk, which brings buyers and sellers of eLearning resources together, was launched at the Voice of Apprenticeships conference in London to a wide range of organisations, including employers, colleges, and training providers.
Managing Director Carolyn Lewis describes the marketplace as a cross between Amazon and Compare The Market - but for eLearning. You can buy, compare, and sell digital learning resources through the site, and this attracted a lot of attention from potential buyers and sellers of eLearning.
Enquiries about eLearning Marketplace came from colleges interested in marketing their online courses, eLearning publishing companies looking to reach a broader market for their products, and training organisations who are keen not to reinvent the wheel and were pleased that there is a source of eLearning to support their delivery.
There was particular interest from freelance trainers and educational consultants, who were excited about finding an outlet to market digital learning resources they have developed themselves.
Carolyn said, “I was elated to find that so many people were excited about the benefits that the website would bring them. Numerous people said that researching eLearning to meet their needs is time consuming, and they welcomed this new comparison website.”
The eLearning Marketplace has already attracted a number of sellers to the site, including Concise Training, gtsLearning, Guroo Functional Skills, First Health and Safety, and Vocational Innovation. It’s completely free to upload and promote products on the eLearning Marketplace, and there is a no-sale-no-fee guarantee, with sellers' commission rates lower than any other similar marketplace.
