PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Training
London (UK), September 2011- Training company QA has launched its new PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner night school, designed to give project managers more flexibility and access to accredited qualifications. The first course is being held from 19 September - 26 October 2011, hosted by QA's fully accredited and experienced project management trainers.
Bill Walker, Commercial Director, QA, says, "As the UK's largest provider of PRINCE2 training, we have created scheduled evening courses to deliver a cost-effective option for the increasing number of project managers who are not free to attend courses during the day. These sessions will provide greater personal support for students dealing with this very complex subject matter, and they are ideal for contractors, freelancers, and others who want a PRINCE2 qualification to move jobs or for individuals whose training is not supported by their current employers."
The night school is held at QA's business-training centre in central London and is offered in addition to the range of other ways QA provides PRINCE2 training, including PRINCE2 eLearning, virtual courses, bespoke training, and classroom-based PRINCE2 training.
Walker adds, "While it's possible to learn PRINCE2 from a textbook, we believe that learning PRINCE2 from trainers with real-world experience offers so much more than just an understanding of the methodology and the basics of how it's applied. Successful project management needs more subtle skills; for example, understanding who the project stakeholders are, what they need, and how project managers should communicate with them is critical."
"Evidence has shown that project rollouts can be made much smoother by not only using a proven framework, but also ensuring the engagement and support of the project sponsors and other stakeholders. Our courses, whether through the night school, eLearning, or the traditional five-day course, all provide in-depth support from PRINCE2 experts to learn how to be an effective project manager, not just how to pass the exam."
The evening classes will start at 18.30 and end at 20.30 GMT and will include the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner exams in weeks four and six - with full exam preparation in advance.
