Unicorn Announces Partnership with Video Arts
Bournemouth (UK), June 2017 - Some very familiar faces are coming to the Unicorn content library thanks to a new partnership with award-winning soft-skills training providers Video Arts.
Co-founded by John Cleese, Video Arts is renowned for producing entertaining and memorable video learning featuring a host of famous actors and comedians including Cleese himself, Helen Baxendale, Robert Webb, and Sally Phillips.
Leading with the quote that, "people learn nothing when they're asleep and very little when they're bored" (John Cleese), the Video Arts eLearning libraries offer humorous, engaging content in the form of videos, infographics, and classroom aids for blended learning.
From this month, both ”The Classics” and “The Essentials” libraries will be available as part of Unicorn's content offering - available to existing users of Unicorn LMS, and featuring learning across topics such as leadership, health and safety, personal development, HR, and more.
This content will also help bring soft skills to life for users of Unicorn's new Minds-i learning-reinforcement app. Minds-i puts a range of micro-learning nuggets into the pockets of learners and encourages individuals to explore and build their own personal learning journeys. So when learners want to develop their knowledge in a particular soft-skills area, the Video Arts resources will be amongst a variety of different types of content that they can access at the point they need it.
Mark Jones, Commercial Director Unicorn Training, said, "Video Arts are experts in creating engaging, humorous, and compelling eLearning content. We believe the addition of these fantastic eLearning libraries will provide an even more diverse and unique range for new and existing clients of our Unicorn LMS and new learning app Minds-i."
Martin Addison, CEO of Video Arts, said "Unicorn is an experienced, well-recognised eLearning provider with great technological capability. We're delighted to be partnering with them to offer our award-winning eLearning course content along with our bitesize video library for Minds-i. This alliance fits perfectly with our core proposition to provide engaging learning that's accessible anytime and anywhere."
With a beautifully designed, intuitive user interface, Minds-i will be fun to use and will encourage self-directed, personal learning, including through a new intelligent web-content-curation engine. Behind the scenes, administrators can view management information, add new content, create learning paths, and communicate directly with the learning community through their mobile devices.
