Call for Papers Is Still Open
Cassino (I), October 2007 - Studio e-LearningOne, an association of Italian eLearning consultants, is organizing the eLearningPoint Meeting 2008 in cooperation with scholars and experts in the field. The meeting will be held online through a videoconference system to which all participants will be invited, by a specific e-mail notification. Videoconferencing software used allows the desktop sharing and audio and video sharing so that all participants will be able to see the presentations both in graphical and audiovisual terms. This event will be an occasion of discussion and reflection about the main themes related to educational technologies and their theoretical and practical development. The Call for Papers is open until 20 November 2007.
What will be the role of distance education in web 2.0, and how will we use the traditional didactical paradigms in the environment of social software? These questions, among others, will be discussed during the conference.
Even though the meeting is about recent developments in eLearning, it will certainly not ignore all the classical aspects of eLearning 1.0. Therefore a specific area of the meeting has been reserved for instructional design, organizational aspects of eLearning, and other related issues.
