David Guralnick's Online eLearning Design Course
New York, NY (USA), September 2010 - Dr. David Guralnick's eLearning design course "Workplace eLearning: Creating an Effective eLearning User Experience" will be offered again this autumn as an eight-week online course. It focuses on the design of eLearning in workplace environments from a perspective that looks to put academic research into practice.
Real-world cases, including numerous demonstrations of real-life courses and systems, will be used to explore uses of eLearning in the workplace for both training and -œjust-in-time- performance-support purposes.
David Guralnick has been designing eLearning for large and small companies for over twenty years and has been the recipient of numerous eLearning design awards.
He is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, where he teaches eLearning design; president of the International eLearning Association; founder and chair of the International Conference on eLearning in the Workplace; and founder of the eLearning Group for the American Society of Training & Development's New York chapter. His work has been featured in Wired magazine, Training magazine (as an Editor's Choice), and the Wall Street Journal.
