ELearning Baltics Opens Registration
Rostock (GER), April 2012 - Themed "Learning, Training and Assistance at the Workplace", eLearning Baltics (eLBa) 2012 is taking place 21-22 in Rostock, Germany. This is the fifth eLBa, which combines an international scientific conference, eLBa Science, and the Business User Forum eLBa Business.
eLBa 2012 unites researchers, practitioners and scientists; people using eLearning products and services; as well as people producing them in one event. It covers different aspects of learning and teaching with digital media in various settings such as classroom, university, workplace, home, and mobile environments.
It addresses diverse topics and perspectives, technologies and theories, and implementations and evaluations of eLearning from the fields of computer science, pedagogy, psychology, and design.
Keynote one will be delivered by futorologist Sven Gábor Jánszky, Director of 2b AHEAD ThinkTank, entitled "The Way We Live in the Year 2022", and keynote two will be held by Prof. Dr. Ulrike Lucke, University of Potsdam, entitled "Authentic Online Classes beyond Traditional Lecture Streaming".
eLBa 2012 consists of three parts:
- eLBa Science - an international scientific conference
- eLBa Business - a business congress and user forum
- eLBa Exhibition - an accompanying exhibition for eLearning products and services.
On 20 June, the day before the main conference opens, three pre-conference workshops take place; all are free of charge.
