Gaining Insight into Current Russian Education Methods
Moscow (RU), June 2008 - The second edition of the MOSCOW Education Online 2008 International Conference will be held at the city's the President Hotel from 28 September to 1 October 2008. Supported by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, the conference covers a wide range of learning topics.
The Conference themes include a broad spectrum of issues that encompass development of innovative technologies and managerial solutions used both in distant learning and in face-to-face mode as well as the analysis of trends in open, blended, distance, corporate, and lifelong learning and continuous education.
Other focuses will be the improvement of the legal base that supports the education system and international cooperation in eLearning development in the world. Participants will be able to observe the globalization processes and internationalization in the field of education and other topical and widely discussed issues related to learning.
A plenary session and about forty parallel sessions, panel discussions, and working groups where participants will have an opportunity to discuss the above issues are planned.
The organizers welcome the opportunity to play host to many renowned Russian experts and more than 100 international experts. The European Foundation for Quality in eLearning (EFQUEL) management representatives and some members of the European Association of Distance Teaching Universities are among those expected to attend.
A high-quality exhibition will run parallel to the Conference.
