Istanbul (TR), October 2009 - The outcomes of RESELTAM will be presented at the International Arts and Restoration Fair of Florence, 29 - 31 October, 2009. The conclusions will be shared at the Final Dissemination Conference "RESELTAM: eLearning for Craftsmen in the Restoration, Conservation and Building Sector", 30 October 2009, from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.
The project "RESELTAM: Development of web-based education modules for craftsmen working in the restoration sector to receive vocational training according to European Quality Standardization" involved organizations specialized in vocational-education training. These organizations have been working together since 2007 and have produced several outcomes.
These include
- the complete RESELTAM eLearning system, which is divided into four branches of specialization training (wood, stone, masonry, and metal)
- the RESELTAM website
- the Bazaar (database) and Forum communication tools, and
- the Handbook for the eLearning system and presentation of the project.
The result of RESELTAM is to provide education with eLearning tools in order to solve problems posed by the shortcomings in the knowledge base in the restoration and conservation sectors. RESELTAM eLearning has been produced according to the needs of the target group and professional restoration sector and has been tested by a large number of representatives of the restoration sector group.
