Share Your Knowledge in Maui
Lahaina, HI (USA), October 2010 - The Clute Institute invites participants to attend its International College Teaching & Learning Conference (ICTL) from 03-05 January 2011 in Lehaina, Maui, Hawaii. ICTL provides a forum for faculty and administrators to share proven and innovative methods in teaching and learning at the college level.
Presentations on teaching issues that touch on any of the following or related topics are invited: curriculum, ethics in higher education, promotion and tenure, accreditation, teaching methods and styles, administration, faculty welfare, technology in the classroom, teacher evaluation, eLearning, and department-specific issues.
The education presentations are of interest to all college faculty and administrators and especially to school of education faculty. In most cases, a Best Paper Award is issued for the best paper in each session. Papers winning the Best Paper Award are automatically reviewed for possible publication in one of twelve academic journals.
ICTL offers four tracks: Business and Economics, Education, Engineering Education, and Health Sciences.
The Business & Economics track provides a forum for faculty to present their research on any accounting, CIS/CMS, economics, finance, management, marketing, related teaching, or other business-related topics.
The Education track provides a forum for faculty and administrators to share proven and innovative methods in teaching at the college level.
The Engineering Education track provides a forum for faculty to present papers that focus on theory, practice, assessment, and mainstreaming of innovative engineering education strategies.
The Health Sciences track provides a forum for faculty to share health-science practice, research, and education knowledge.
The deadline for abstracts or proposals is 20 December 2010.
