eLearning 2.0 Conference

The Future of Learning Today

London (UK), May 2011 - The third eLearning 2.0 conference will explore technology-enhanced learning in the context of Web 2.0 and social media, including Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, Wikis, and YouTube. It will be held in London on 06-07 July 2011.




Themes include evolving pedagogies for Web 2.0; security; privacy, social networking; podcasting, wikis; blogging, video sharing; screencasting; folksonomies; eLearning 2.0 and people with disabilities; the potential impact of eLearning 2.0 on the Third World; creativity and Web 2.0; human-computer interaction; and business.

eLearning 2.0 will comprise invited keynote speeches and short individual presentations. Presentations will be screencast after the event. The Conference spans two days; lunch and refreshments will be provided on both.

The gathering brings together international education, information systems and technology-enhanced-learning researchers and practitioners to participate in sharing ideas and to enjoy the exciting surroundings of the historical capital of the UK.

Participants who wish to present should submit a title and abstract of no more than 500 words to Chris Evans no later than 30 May 2011.
