Regional Conference on Learning to Learn
Heerlen (NL), May 2017 - The Erasmus+ project LELLE (Let’s Learn how to Learn) is holding a regional conference at the Open University of the Netherlands, Heerlen, 01 June 2017; its theme is "Learning to Learn: Beyond 2020". The aim of the conference is to share and learn about on-going challenges, as well as the huge potential in the changing educational landscape and global workplace of the future. The conference hopes to empower all who are involved in education and the workplace with inspiration and tools to stay relevant in the 21st century.
The LELLE project embraces a long-term vision to equip graduates with core life skills, making them ready and mobile for the job market and the workplace. Students, teachers, graduates, practitioners, researchers, budding entrepreneurs, industry players, policy makers, etc. are invited to join the conference in order to network and to share their experiences, perspectives, and views on the changing scenes in the educational landscape and the 21st- century workplace.
The conference programme features a two-hour plenary session in the morning on "Bridging Gaps between the School and the Workplace" and three workshop sessions on "Rethinking Education in the Changing World" in the afternoon. During the lunch break, participants can showcase their recent work in the poster walk.
The organisation looks forward to your participation as well as your contribution. You can indicate your interest to showcase your research efforts during the lunch time poster walk in the conference registration form. The number of seats is limited, so it’s first-come, first-served basis. Participation is free if you register before 19 May.
