Scientific Submissions on Future Education
Herleen (NL), September 2019 - The international LINQ 2019 Conference encourages you to submit your scientific papers on innovative learning and education in schools, universities, and lifelong learning. The Call for Papers is open now; the deadline for full paper submissions is 10 October 2019.
All submissions will be evaluated in double-blind peer review by the International Programme Committee. The selected papers will be published in the official LINQ Proceedings and presented at LINQ 2019, taking placing in the beautiful Dutch city of Roermond, 22 November 2019.
The motto of LINQ 2019 is "Innovative School Education for Sustainable Development". In keeping with this theme, LINQ 2019 invites you to one of the most innovative schools worldwide, Roermond’s Niekée School. The Call for Papers specifically asks for submissions related to innovative and quality learning in schools, but other areas will also be considered: All scientific papers related to innovation and quality aspects at any educational level and on learning topic are most welcome.
Interested researchers and practitioners are requested to submit an abstract of their planned paper in the conference submission system, EasyChair, until 30 September 2019. The full paper submissions are due 10 October 2019. The Call for Papers provides all details about the procedures and topics.
The selected papers will be printed in the official LINQ Proceedings that will be distributed to all conference participants, as well as leading libraries. The official LINQ Proceedings will be published on the conference website with an open and free license (golden open access), too. Furthermore, the official LINQ Proceedings will have a DOI and ISBN and will be sent for indexing to all our major indexing partners, including EI, Scopus, DOAJ, and Conference Proceedings Citation Index. (These indexing partners have final say on what they include, and the process can take anywhere between four and twelve months, depending on how busy the indexing partner is at the time).
In addition, a Call for Posters is open parallel to the Call for Papers: You can submit your posters to be presented at LINQ 2019 in English or Dutch. Please see the conference website for details.
The LINQ Conference is always open for researchers and policy developers, as well as for practitioners. LINQ 2019 extends a particular welcome to school teachers and principals: We want to support the exchange between the worlds of theory and practice! LINQ 2019 is organized by the Open Education research group of the Open University of the Netherlands (led by Dr. Christian M. Stracke), in close collaboration with the Trends Conference of the Welten Institute, the Niekée School in Roermond, and the Learn STEM consortium.
