Cognota Launches Accredited Micro Certifications

Toronto (CA), April 2026 — Cognota, the leading LearnOps platform for enterprise talent & learning development teams, has announced the launch of its latest extension of the LearnOps Academy, a free, micro-certification–based learning experience designed to educate and certify Learning & Development (L&D) professionals.

The LearnOps Academy represents a strategic evolution in how the L&D profession develops operational capability. Built around focused micro-certifications, the Academy equips learning leaders with practical skills in strategic alignment, operating models, program management, measurement, analytics, and transformation.

"The L&D profession is evolving faster than its operational training," said Ryan Austin, CEO of Cognota. "Learning leaders are being asked to deliver measurable impact at scale with less resources, yet most have never been formally trained in how learning actually operates inside an enterprise. We built the LearnOps Academy to close that gap—and made it free to ensure access is never a barrier."

The new LearnOps Academy offers modular, on-demand micro-certifications, each under 90 minutes. These stack into advanced role-based credentials such as:

  • L&D Strategy Practitioner
  • Learning Operations Manager
  • Measurement & ROI Specialist
  • Transformation Leader

Each credential is designed by well-known industry experts to help accelerate job-relevant capability rather than theoretical knowledge. With a focus on operational excellence, Cognota aims to raise the professional standard across the industry.

While the Academy is free, it is directly aligned with Cognota’s broader mission: to power learning operations for all enterprises globally. By educating the market on LearnOps principles—alignment, planning, execution, measurement, optimization, and transformation—Cognota strengthens the foundation upon which enterprise learning organizations operate.
