London (UK), August 2024 - A report from Cornerstone shows a widening gap between what employees expect and the support they perceive as getting from employers. The generational divide between GenZ, Millennials, GenX and older workers, which was particularly pronounced, is leaving organisations struggling to keep up with the pace of change.
The Cornerstone research uncovered concerning trends in workforce readiness and employee satisfaction across generations in the UK, revealing that it's millennials who stand out as the generation most disconnected from their employers. Compared to the others, they are reportedly much more likely to quit their jobs in the next six months.
