A Conference for Visionary Instructional Design
Miami, FL (USA), July 2017 - Successful learning begins with visionary instructional design. At innoved Con 2017, industry leaders converge over two days in Miami, FL to present the latest solutions in design, development, and delivery. This year’s event will be held at Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC) in Miami, FL, 11-12 October.
At innoved Con 2017, industry leaders will converge over two days to present the latest and best practices in the field of eLearning. Hosted by innoved Online, a full-service eLearning development and consultation team powered by FIU Online, innoved Con 2017 will consist of numerous concurrent sessions on the latest developments in digital instruction. Attendees will include instructional designers and distance-learning administrators, among other learning professionals.
A variety of top innovators and administrators are slated to speak, including keynote speaker Jaime Casap, Chief Education Evangelist for Google. A "Mojito Mix & Mingle" networking event will kick off the conference on Wednesday evening that will allow attendees to connect with a diverse group of professionals with an ambiance that only Miami can provide.
"We are very excited to gather all the many talented instructional designers and learning professionals from across the industry here in Miami," said Joseph Riquelme, Interim Vice President of FIU Online and a featured speaker at the conference. "By providing a platform for exchanging success stories and best practices in the instructional design community, we hope to empower those who attend with the ability to build engaging quality learning environments."
From learning professional basics to the innovations changing the field of digital instruction, innoved Con 2017’s program will include a full range of topics. Breakout sessions will be organized according to three primary principles: design, development, and delivery. The aim is to equip instructional designers and other learning professionals with the latest in course design, professional development, and trends in delivery technologies.
Optional pre-conference workshops will be available on 11 October at 9 am. These sessions will give participants in-depth skills training led by industry experts, along with certificates of completion and CEU credits.
Along with attendance, organizers are asking other distance-learning professionals to propose presentations on learning experiences applicable to careers in the field.
