EDEN 2020 Research Workshop Goes Online
Budapest (HUN), September 2020 - With the EDEN 2020 Research Workshop, the eleventh event of its kind, drawing closer at the threshold of the autumn semester, the organizers kindly remind interested participants that the Workshop will be held completely online. Hosted by LE@D, Universidade Aberta (UAb) Lisbon, Portugal, the event takes place 21-23 October.
The theme and scope of EDEN's RW11 will reflect the current challenges researchers face regarding the impact of emerging digital technologies and artificial intelligence on the improvement of the quality and sustainability of the human learning experience. The focus is to support participants in making better-informed design decisions, tracking learning performance, anticipating problems more preciously and acting accordingly, as well as collecting more learning evidence.
Contributions are invited that are the result of personal research, as are project achievements, case studies, and theoretical and conceptual work of relevance to the conference theme and tracks. Also welcome are presentations on the creative use of educational technology.
With regard to prevailing restrictions on travels and social gatherings, the organizers have also taken into account the recent good experiences with the EDEN 2020 Annual Virtual Conference, including the PhD Symposium in June and the “Education in time of a pandemic” webinar series throughout the spring.
