Lecturio Offers Free Learning Material during COVID-19

Leipzig (GER), April 2020 - Due to the exponential spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for qualified personnel worldwide is increasing massively in order to provide coronavirus patients with professional care.

In order to do so, the eLearning provider Lecturio has created an information portal for COVID-19 and a corresponding video package. All content has been made freely available and is constantly being expanded and updated.

The learning content is aimed at doctors and nursing staff and offers both the theoretical basis for COVID-19 and dealing with patients, especially if complications arise. The video lessons are held by award-winning faculty, including professors from Johns Hopkins and UCL.

In order to keep up to date with the constant developments on the pandemic and the latest research results, the overview page is updated daily.

Lecturio’s Co-CEO Stefan Wisbauer explains, "COVID-19 affects all of us, here in Germany and all over the world. We want to do our part to prepare healthcare professionals as well as possible for the current and upcoming challenges, especially in countries with weaker healthcare systems."

Lecturio is Germany's largest video eLearning provider and stands for sustainable, innovative, and - at the same time - cost-efficient training and further education in companies as well as educational institutions.

Employees and students learn in over 80 areas such as medicine, law, business, software, and career, with practical video-based online training courses. Interactive tests are taken to measure success.
