Reskilling and the Great Resignation

Reframing the Value of People Professionals at Speexx Exchange

Munich (GER), November 2021 - Global HR and people professionals will gather in person and virtually for the eleventh Speexx Exchange event on the opening day of OEB Global 2021, 01 December.

Speexx has confirmed the themes and initial list of speakers for this year's annual Speexx Exchange conference. The event brings together global HR and people professionals to exchange ideas and practical solutions to drive smarter business value.

This year marks the eleventh installment of Speexx Exchange and the second live-streamed edition, bringing together over 500 attendees and participants from across the world.

The Speexx session will explore the impetus on organizations to prioritize employee reskilling, while also facing the challenges of a high proportion of resignations sparked by the pandemic. Top industry experts and thought leaders in HR and L&D will come together to reexamine and reframe how people professionals can add bottom line value to struggling organizations.

Initial speakers will include Jeremy Blain, the author of the Amazon #1 bestseller "The Inner CEO", Shannon Tipton, expert on blended learning techniques, and Jeff Kortenbosch. Expert online moderation will be provided by Jo Cook, global authority on virtual learning.

The proceedings will once again be moderated by Laura Overton, international speaker, author, and founder of Towards Maturity. Laura will facilitate contributors and participants in the event to focus on the following three session themes:

  • Building the essential skills for the modern workplace - how do we prepare our workforce for the future? How do we motivate leaders at all levels?
  • Building smarter solutions - How do we design smarter learning solutions that build skills, confidence, and competence needed to drive better business value in the digital world?
  • Building the skill of the skill builders - What skills do today's people professionals need to build the skills of others? How do we harness our existing strengths and build new skills to help us drive better business value?
