Interactive Books for Science Students Published

Oslo (NO), October 2009 - Edvantage group, an eLearning company and managed-learning service provider, in partnership with Greenbook Digital Publishing AS, a Norwegian all-digital publishing house, have released their first digital multi-book for use by science students. By using video, animation, sound, and various exercises, multi-books enhance learning and make it more enjoyable for students. Users don't have to be online to access the information, and the feedback from students and teachers has been positive.

The students enjoy the interactive exercises and appreciate the quick feedback they receive, as well as the ability to highlight and make notes in the book and print the pages they want.

"We are proud to have been part of the development process for the groundbreaking multi-books with Greenbook. Our expertise and over ten years' experience in interactive training have given the books the quality that is needed to assert itself in the market", says Thomas Berglund, Chief Executive, Edvantage group.

"It's been great to share and use our expertise with Greenbook's publisher and textbook authors. Our learning designers and course developers know a lot about how to provide students with a good experience when learning in front of your PC and also how to avoid the pitfalls that can exist in the development of digital training solutions", says Berglund.

In the coming years, Edvantage group and Greenbook Digital Publishing are planning to produce a variety of digital books for high school and university-level students. "We strongly believe that the multi-books will be a success, and in the future we will make them even more exciting", says Knut Solbakken, Production Manager Edvantage group, Norway.
