Multi-Disciplinary Forum Organized in Montréal
Montréal, QC (CA), May 2012 - The world conference on eLearning in corporate, government, healthcare, and higher education "eLearn" will take place 09 - 12 October 2012 and is organized by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) and co-sponsored by the International Journal on Learning.
The eLearn conference series is an annual multidisciplinary international forum designed to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas on the research, issues, developments, and applications of a broad range of eLearning topics. ELearn is an innovative collaboration between eLearning researchers and practitioners from the corporate, government, healthcare, and higher-education sectors.
The call for papers is open until 25 May. All presentation proposals are reviewed and selected by a respected international program committee based on merit and the perceived value for attendees.
The coverage of a wide range of interrelated topics is one of the features that distinguishes the eLearn conference series. Attendees are able to mix and match sessions to focus on the combination of topics that is of the most interest, concern, and benefit to them.
While there are keynote and invited talks delivered by internationally recognized technology experts, E-Learn is more of a participatory event. All attendees play an important interactive role, offering valuable feedback and insight gained from their own experience. A wealth of knowledge is exchanged, as professionals from disparate but related fields come from all over the world to meet and learn about new developments that impact their respective activities.
While eLearn encourages commercial participation, it is not a trade show, and there is no exhibition. Instead, the Conference uniquely relates and displays commercial activities throughout the eLearn program in the form of a products-and-services showcase and other company presentations. Major sponsors receive special speaking and demonstration opportunities in addition to signage and "exhibit" space during the event.
