Joint International Conference in Istanbul
Istanbul (TR), July 2012 - The International Conference of the Academy of Human Resource Developing (ASIAandMENA Chapter) and the International Conference on Knowledge, Economy and Management (ICKEM) will convene in a joint international gathering in Istanbul, 08-10 November 2012.
The event brings together various researchers of the information revolution in academia and industry, such as engineers, social scientists, scholars, and graduate students.
The participants will have a platform in which they can exchange and share experiences and research results about all aspects of human resource development, knowledge management, the knowledge society, and the knowledge economy. Discussions will also focus on the challenges encountered and solutions adopted.
The Joint Conference has teamed up with the International Journal of Knowledge Economy and Knowledge Management (The JKEM) to publish a special journal issue on advances in HRD, knowledge economy, and knowledge management. The Conference is chaired by Assoc. Prof. Ibrahim Guran Yumusak.
The late abstract submission deadline is 01 August, and scholars, practitioners, consultants, and policy makers interested in HRD and knowledge economy and management are invited to submit manuscripts and proposals relevant to the following topic areas
- global economic crisis and HRD
- global and cross-cultural HRD
- HRD theories and practices relevant to Asian and MENA contexts
- performance and career development
- training and organization development
- learning and performance development
- decent work and quality of work life
The early-bird registration deadline ends on 12 July, and accepted manuscripts need to be camera ready on 12 August.
