scil Congress 2010

Creating Values in Times of Change

St. Gallen (CH), February 2010 - The fourth International Congress of the Swiss Centre for Innovations in Learning (scil) on 07-08 October 2010 will focus on creating values - strategic, economic, leadership, pedagogic, and cultural - through professional learning.

History shows that the companies that continue to invest in their innovative capabilities during tough economic times are those that fare best when growth returns. Facing change, companies have to maintain that focus and manage costs tightly. At the same time, organizations need to keep growth options alive and have to build capabilities that are essential to survive in the future.

The challenge is to create long-term, stable values in times of change in high-dynamic environments. This leads to the question: How can activities within the different areas of professional learning create key values in times of change?

The Congress is directed toward

  • educational managers, chief learning officers, and human resource managers
  • researchers and practitioners in organisational learning, education management, and related fields
  • eLearning experts and those responsible for innovations in learning at colleges, universities, public institutions, and companies.

Speakers include:

  • Dr. Andreas Schönenberger, Country Manager of Google Switzerland, Switzerland, Zurich
  • Dr. Dietmar Albrecht, Volkswagen Coaching GmbH, Germany, Wolfsburg
