New Release within a Media-rich, Interactive Design
Cambridge, MA (US), June 2007 - Harvard Business School Publishing has announced Harvard ManageMentor® 10, the new version of its flagship online management resource. Presented within a media-rich, interactive design, the tool can be used both as on-demand help and also as an eLearning program. Harvard ManageMentor 10 features more than forty modules with practical advice, downloadable tools, and time-saving tips on key management topics to build skills quickly for an immediate impact on performance.
"Busy professionals need access to digestible, practical information to do their jobs better," commented Peter McAteer, managing director and vice president of Corporate Learning, Harvard Business School Publishing. "We have dramatically enhanced the interface and navigation to make it easier to absorb and retain information, drill down on topics, or come back to a key tool. It's like putting dozens of the most respected thinkers in business on every desktop in your organization."
Developed with input from customers and other learning leaders through extensive prototyping and user testing, Harvard ManageMentor 10 offers new media-rich features including:
- 200 interactive learning activities that reinforce key learning points and offer managers the opportunity to apply what they learn;
- 350 video elements to engage learners;
- 125 compelling short video stories from leading global executives that offer real-world perspectives; and,
- Audio downloads for every topic, which let users listen to Harvard ManageMentor content anytime and anywhere.
Harvard ManageMentor 10 is easy to deploy with minimal IT resource involvement. The topics can be offered collectively for performance support, used selectively to integrate with existing curriculum, or offered as part of a broader solution. In addition, Harvard Business School Publishing's Implementation Services group can customize the program with an organization's terminology and branding for even deeper resonance and on-the-job relevance.
More than ten organizations have already purchased Harvard ManageMentor 10 as early adopters. Harvard ManageMentor 10 is now available in English and will be translated into nine languages.
