St. Gallen (CH), October 2007 - The Swiss Center for Innovations in Learning is organizing its third congress from 22-23 May 2008 in St. Gallen, Switzerland. The theme of the conference is "The Changing Face of Learning - Creating the Right Balance". The call for papers is now open, and proposals and solution presentations can be submitted until 15 November 2007.
Finding, establishing, and sustaining the right balance while confronted with various changes is a tremendous challenge for both corporate learning and higher education institutions. The congress addresses these challenges under various headings.
Keynote speakers already confirmed are Diana Oblinger, Vice President Educause; Graham Atwell; Hank Harkoff; and Erland Joergensen, Head of Knowledge, Innovation and Design, Shell International.
The call for papers addresses researchers and practitioners in higher education, who are invited to present solutions and research results with regard to the question: How can we create the right balance in our institutions regarding innovations and established practices?
