Lecturio Integrates Learning Objectives into Learning Flow

Leipzig (GER), January 2021 - Learning-science research says that students learn best when they know what they're about to watch in a video, and then afterward can quiz themselves on the content. Lecturio knows this, too, and therefore has made its learning objectives for each video visible within the video player interface. It's now easier for students to check their understanding of the content presented as they go.

Transatlantic Collaboration in Digital Music Teaching

Mainz (GER), October 2020 - With the beginning of this month, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) has officially started cooperating with Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, in various areas of music-related teaching. Their joint project Virtuelle Musiklehre in Kunst und Wissenschaft ('Virtual Music Teaching in Art and Academia') has attracted financial support to the tune of EUR 73,000 from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

As part of a new project funded by the EU to the tune of up to €790,000, the University of Bayreuth is working towards establishing commensurate courses of study at universities in Tanzania. The project title is Developing Curricula for Biodiversity Monitoring and Conservation in Tanzania (CONTAN).
