On the Current Status of the National Education Platform
Potsdam (GER), May 2023 - In April 2021, a consortium coordinated by the University of Potsdam began developing the Bildungsraum Digital (Digital Learning Space) project, or BIRD for short. In the context of the German government’s Digital Education Initiative, BIRD is the first of four prototypes for a future national education platform and makes possible the testing of structures for data exchange, the interoperability of various platform types, and the implementation of standards. Prof. Ulrike Lucke, the BIRD project’s head, will elucidate the status of the National Education Platform, 24 May at 15.00 as part of the Digital University session at LEARNTEC.
Zum aktuellen Stand der Nationalen Bildungsplattform
Potsdam, April 2023 – Vor zwei Jahren, im April 2021 begann ein durch die Universität Potsdam koordinierter Verbund mit der Entwicklung des Projekts "Bildungsraum Digital", kurz BIRD. BIRD stellt im Rahmen der Initiative Digitale Bildung den ersten von insgesamt vier Prototypen für eine künftige Nationale Bildungsplattform dar und ermöglicht das Testen von Strukturen für den Datenaustausch, die Interoperabilität von unterschiedlichen Plattformtypen und die Implementierung von Standards. Federführend dabei ist Prof. Ulrike Lucke, die am 24. Mai im Rahmen der Tagung der Digitalen Hochschule auf der LEARNTEC um 15 Uhr über den Stand der Nationalen Bildungsplattform spricht.
