Eye-Tracking Methodology in Behavioral Research
Leuven (BE), August 2012 - The second international eye-tracking methods conference - EyeTrackBehavior 2012 - organized by Tobii, a leading vendor of eye tracking and eye control. It will take place in Belgium from 9-10 October 2012. After last year's experience, the organizers once again invite academic researchers interested in the subject to this two-day event to learn more about eye tracking as a technology and methodology.
International researchers will present their work during the Conference and share experiences and insights on how they use eye tracking in their research. This includes experimental design, working with participants and data collection, and the processing and analysis of gaze data.
Examples of potential themes for the Conference include developmental psychology, cognition, psychology and behavior, human-computer interaction, and neuropsychology, as well as language or reading research.
The principal goal of this conference is to serve as a meeting point between researchers who use or are considering using eye tracking in behavioral research. Tobii will be offering focused, practical eye-tracking tutorials (one-two hours each) during the Conference and an optional post-conference course on 11 October 2012 after the gathering.
