Savannah, GA (USA), September 2008 - "Information Literacy" is defined as the ability to know when there is a need for information and to be able to identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively use that information for the issue or problem at hand. The topic will form the focus of the discussion at the Georgia Conference on Information Literacy, taking place on October 3 and 4 at the Coastal Georgia Center, Savannah, GA, USA.
