International Conference on eLearning in the Workplace
New York (NY), October 2011 - ICELW is an international conference focused specifically on eLearning in the workplace. In 2012 it will be held from 13-15 June at Columbia University in New York. The call for proposals is now open; the deadline is 19 December.
ICELW 2012 will incorporate an increased focus on demonstrations of successful eLearning and on the application of new research ideas and research studies to practical workplace learning problems. With researchers and practitioners coming from around the globe, and from both university and business backgrounds, the ICELW community works to improve online learning so that it makes a measurable difference in workplace performance and morale.
To convey eLearning knowledge and show its application in the workplace, ICELW uses a variety of engaging formats: demonstrations, mini-seminars, case studies, interviews, debates, presentations, panel discussions, and more. By offering this "active" structure for the Conference, its organizers hope to encourage lively discussion among participants, as well as inspire meaningful action.
ICELW welcomes anyone with a background or interest in eLearning in the workplace, including researchers, consultants, corporate trainers, managers, and directors.
ICELW is seeking proposals covering a wide range of topics relating to eLearning in the workplace, which include the following (find the full list online):
- online training methodologies
