MoOdalis: Comprehensive Software Environment
Cologne (GER), November 2007 - At the Online Educa Berlin 2007, the Cologne-based software specialist for knowledge management and information management sym.net, together with its partner DIALOGE Beratungsgesellschaft (Bonn), will present the eLearning framework MoOdalis. The presenters will be the sym.net CEO Martin Butz and Ralf Hilgenstock of DIALOGE.
The comprehensive software environment MoOdalis integrates the information management framework Odalis with the learning management system Moodle, which is open source software. Moodle enables the creation of course rooms and the presentation of training contents and also facilitates communication between participants and tutors. Odalis provides advanced user administration, new solutions permitting content sharing among multiple course rooms, and allows the compilation of reports and certificates; furthermore,l it delivers a full-text-search function covering the whole system.
Today, eLearning plays an important role for institutions and government bodies, as well as in business and commerce. The partners involved in MoOdalis want to face the new challenges in the efficient management of courses, participants, and learning content and believe their learning framework provides appropriate solutions. "Especially for larger organizations and businesses, MoOdalis offers interfaces to collaborate with existing software environments", explains Martin Butz. "That's how we can guarantee that it efficiently imports and processes data, course results, and certificates from systems such as SAP and others".
