Call for Submissions: Fostering Creativity
Budapest (HU), December 2010 - The European Journal of Open, Distance, and ELearning has announced a special issue for the summer of 2011 entitled "Fostering Creativity - The Use of Open Educational Resources". In this special issue, the editors are interested in exploring the nature of creativity in more depth and how this might be understood and used to better harness the potential of OER.
The special issue will be edited by Elsebeth Korsgaard Sorensen, Dept. of Information and Media Studies, Aarhus University, DK; Graínne Conole, Institut of Educational Technology, The Open University, UK; and Asger Harlung, Dept. of Information and Media Studies, Aarhus University, DK.
From the perspective of stimulating change and bringing about creativity in the design of OER, the special issue aims to identify and present, from a principled approach, the latest research, not only on relevant theory and various practice contexts, but also in terms of capturing learning designs and best practice that demonstrate significant and creative ways of enhancing the learning process through effective use of OER.
