Consultation for 2023 UNESCO Education Report

UNESCO World OER Congress 2017

Quality in Open Education Matters Now!

Ljubljana (SI), October 2017 - The second international World OER Congress 2017, held 18-20 September, led to the approval of the Ljubljana OER Action Plan and a revival of the quality debate. Experts and national delegates from 111 countries adopted the 41 recommended actions by acclamation. All United Nations' Member States are urged to mainstream open-licensed resources building knowledge societies and to achieve the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 on Quality Education.
