Nürnberg, Februar 2020 - Digitalisierung, digitale Transformation, digitale Kompetenzen – aktuell prägen neue Medien und moderne Lernformate die Bildungslandschaft. Auch in der beruflichen Rehabilitation werden vermehrt Smartphones, Tablets, interaktive Whiteboards und eLearning-Tools eingesetzt. Allerdings verfügt noch nicht jede Einrichtung über die Ressourcen oder eine Strategie im Umgang mit diesen Werkzeugen. Das Forschungsinstitut Betriebliche Bildung (f-bb) gGmbH lädt am 18. Februar zu einem diesbezüglichen Workshop.

ELearning in German Prisons

Not only do language skills allow people to get involved with their community, but they are also necessary for engaging with educational programmes and vocational-training schemes. Thus, it should come as no surprise that a large part of the prison population in countries like Germany is comprised of young immigrants and unaccompanied child refugees. Poor language and social skills often leave members of these groups with few prospects within German society.
