Preliminary turnover in 2013 amounts to 15.3 million euros. -œNew customers in Australia, New Zealand, and the USA have contributed to the sales growth, as has the development of long-term business relationships in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland,- explains IMCs CEO Dr Wolfgang Kraemer.

Due to new business models and publicly accessible and free learning opportunities (massive open online courses – MOOCs) the global education markets are in transition. New learning formats such as explanatory videos and learning games (game-based learning), which can also be used on mobile devices (mobile learning), have significantly increased learner acceptance.

New technological possibilities, such as completely outsourcing learning infrastructures in the cloud and payment for the appropriate software systems only when demand arises (software as a service), allow simplification of complex and lengthy procurement processes in organizations. Furthermore, changing legal conditions (compliance) require more transparency and complete documentation of qualification measures in areas such as occupational safety, food hygiene, Code of Conduct and anti-corruption, as well as in the anti-trust realm.

Sustainable importance of lifelong learning as an educational mission in companies and public institutions, coupled with the need for cost-effective educational processes and offerings, supports the further growth of the international distribution of digital learning solutions from IMC.
