A Welcome Support Network for the Future Generations of Learning
London (UK), December 2019 - Learning Technologies London is running an international Learning Thirty under 30 programme for the learning, development, and training community aimed at developing and spotlighting the next generation of learning leadership in our field. Applications are now being accepted, with a deadline of 14 January 2020.
The organisers have just announced that applications are now open to be part of Learning Thirty under 30 Class of 2020. The programme itself is free to enter and offers considerable discounts for successful participants to attend Learning Technologies, offering a rare opportunity for the class of 2020 to participate in mentoring activities at the event with leading industry figures.
We caught up with Donald H Taylor, the programme chair of the Learning Technologies conference, who is driving this initiative forward. Taylor commented, "We are absolutely delighted to announce that we are running Europe's Learning Thirty under 30 programme for the learning, development, and training community, aimed at developing and spotlighting the next generation of learning leadership in our field."
The goal of this Learning Thirty under 30 special scholarship is to provide support, visibility, voice, and development for the next generation of learning leaders across Europe. The programme mirrors the USA’s Learning 2020 event programme that has been running for ten years and will be facilitated by some of Learning 2019’s Thirty under 30 class winners.
A familiar name in learning’s most influential characters and Learning Technologies MD, Mark Penton, added, "We are looking for the next generation of high energy, outgoing L&D professionals who are raring to network with new colleagues who want to propel their career forward. The winning 30 will receive unique development and benchmarking activities with peers, interactive time with key speakers and other learning leaders, and exclusive participation in mentoring activities at the event."
Applications are now being accepted, with a deadline of 14 January 2020.
