Graz (AT), January 2009 - I-KNOW '09, the ninth International Conference on Knowledge Management and Knowledge Technologies will take place 2-4 September 2009 in Graz, Austria. Opening and closing keynotes, an international cooperation event, and a conference-wide exhibition complete the I-KNOW conference program.
I-KNOW brings together international researchers from the fields knowledge management and knowledge technologies (English-speaking scientific part) and practitioners (German-speaking industry part, Praxisforum).
Klaus Tochtermann and Hermann Maurer, both of the Graz University of Technology, chair the conference.
The call for submissions of original papers is now open and invites contributions that resonate with the following topics or related issues:

- Innovative Approaches to Knowledge Management
- Knowledge Management and Web 2.0
The deadline for the submission of papers is 9 March 2009. All papers accepted for presentation at I-KNOW '09 will appear in the printed conference proceedings. Selected papers will also be invited for an extension to be published as journal publication in J.UCS.
