Berlin (GER), August 2007 - Educators from around the world came together in Berlin to intensify their efforts to meet the needs of every child and to uphold children's fundamental rights to a quality education in a more just world. About 1,700 teachers and education workers attended the fifth World Congress of Education International (EI). London (UK), July 2007 - Aviva plc, the international savings, investments, and insurance group, has launched its global diversity learning resource, the "Respect Diversity Toolkit", at an event attended by HR professionals from FTSE 100 employers including Barclays, Goldman Sachs, UBS, BT, HSBC, and Shell. The launch, which took place at Aviva's London headquarters, was held in association with Diverse Culture and NB Global Diversity Practice, who worked with Aviva to produce the toolkit. » MORE
